At Music Listing, we want you to be completely satisfied with our services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds, cancellations, and subscription management for our platform.

1. Subscription Plans Overview

We offer various subscription plans to meet different user needs:

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical problems that prevent you from using our service
  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly or multiple times
  • Service Unavailability: If the service was unavailable for an extended period
  • Dissatisfaction: Within 14 days of initial subscription purchase (first-time subscribers only)

2.2 Non-Refundable Items

Please Note:

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Partial months of service already used
  • Add-on features purchased separately (unless technically defective)
  • Services used beyond the 14-day satisfaction guarantee period
  • Violations of our Terms of Service
  • Change of mind after the 14-day period

2.3 Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Processing Time: 5-7 business days to review and approve
  • Credit Card Refunds: 5-10 business days after approval
  • PayPal Refunds: 3-5 business days after approval
  • Other Payment Methods: 7-14 business days after approval

2.4 Pro-Rated Refunds

For annual subscriptions cancelled mid-term, we offer pro-rated refunds calculated as follows:

  • Total annual fee minus monthly equivalent for months used
  • Minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Minimum usage charge of one month applies

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:

  1. Account Dashboard: Navigate to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Subscription
  2. Email Request: Send cancellation request to support@musiclisting.com
  3. Customer Support: Contact our support team for assistance with cancellation

3.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect

  • Monthly Plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • Annual Plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual term
  • Immediate Cancellation: Available with pro-rated refund (see Section 2.4)

3.3 After Cancellation

Once your subscription is cancelled:

  • You will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period
  • Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free Plan
  • Your data and playlists will be preserved for 90 days
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time

Important:

Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. To request a refund, please follow the refund request process outlined in Section 4.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Support: Email refunds@musiclisting.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Provide Details: Include your account email, subscription type, and reason for refund
  3. Documentation: If applicable, provide screenshots or details of technical issues
  4. Wait for Review: Our team will review your request within 5-7 business days
  5. Receive Decision: You'll be notified via email about the approval or denial
  6. Refund Processing: If approved, refund will be processed to your original payment method

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Service Interruptions

If we experience significant service interruptions (more than 24 consecutive hours), we will:

  • Automatically credit your account for the downtime
  • Provide pro-rated refunds for extended outages exceeding 48 hours
  • Notify all affected users via email

5.2 Account Termination

If we terminate your account due to violation of Terms of Service:

  • No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period
  • You will lose access to all premium features immediately
  • Your data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy

5.3 Price Changes

If we increase subscription prices:

  • Existing subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance
  • You can cancel before the price increase takes effect
  • Your current rate will be honored until the end of your billing cycle

6. Free Trial Policy

For users on free trial subscriptions:

6.1 Trial Terms

  • Duration: Free trials typically last 14 or 30 days
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime during the trial without charge
  • Auto-Renewal: Trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
  • One Per Customer: Free trials are limited to one per customer

6.2 Trial Cancellation

To avoid charges after your free trial:

  • Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial end date
  • You'll receive a reminder email 3 days before trial expiration
  • Cancellation during trial period is always free

7. Payment Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider:

Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact our support team. We can often resolve billing issues quickly, and chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension of your account
  • Additional fees to cover chargeback costs
  • Inability to use our service in the future

  2. Provide transaction details and reason for dispute
  3. Allow 2-3 business days for investigation
  4. Receive resolution or explanation

8. Modification of Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be:

  • Communicated to active subscribers via email
  • Effective immediately for new subscriptions
  • Effective at next renewal for existing subscriptions

9. Exceptions and Discretion

While this policy outlines our standard refund and cancellation procedures, we reserve the right to:

  • Make exceptions on a case-by-case basis
  • Offer alternative compensation (credits, extended service, etc.)
  • Deny refund requests that don't meet our eligibility criteria
